The OEM system is built around emissions, which means it can trap pressure in the tank. That pressure leads to heat soak, hard starting, poor performance, and in worst cases, increased risk of fuel-related issues. This replacement valve allows the tank to vent properly while still maintaining safety by preventing fuel from escaping if the machine is rolled over.
