Overview

This isn’t a “nice to have.” It’s preventing a very expensive mistake.

The factory skid setup on the KRX leaves the transmission exposed—and it doesn’t take much to do serious damage. This Bolt-On Transmission Skid Plate reinforces that weak point and gives you real protection where it matters most.

Key features
  • 1/8” steel construction for rigid protection
  • Bolt-on design (installs over factory skid)
  • Press-formed for strength and fitment
  • Integrated drain holes
  • Powder-coated finish
  • Made in the USA
tips & Notes
  • Installs over OEM skid plate (does not replace it)
  • Factory skid should be straightened if damaged before install
  • Compatible with UHMW skid setups
  • Drilling required for installation
  • This does not replace the factory skid, it bolts to it. If yours is beat or bent up, it is advised to try and straighten it before installing our skid plate.
  • We will not replace or discount due to scratches or powder coat missing after shipping. Sorry, its a skid plate.
  • If you are going to run a UHMW delrin skid or have one now its no problem. Please check our installation instructions by clicking ****HERE****

Includes:

  • (1) Steel transmission skid plate
  • Mounting hardware
Installation
  • Inspect and straighten factory skid if needed
  • Position skid plate over OEM skid
  • Drill required mounting holes (3/8”)
  • Install hardware and tighten securely
  • Verify clearance around transmission
