The DRT Motorsports HD Billet Aluminum Tie Rod Kit for the Kawasaki Teryx 1000 KRX/4 (M16 Steering Rack) is designed to strengthen and add reliability to the KRX platform. Made of aerospace-grade 6061-T6 billet bar stock, the kit is much stronger than OEM and lighter in weight without sacrificing strength. Even at full droop or compression, the tie rods clear all suspension and steering components at any point in the steering range so you can ride with confidence.

- Full-travel clearance. Clears all suspension and steering components through the entire range of motion.
- Sealed inner joint. Proprietary inner ball joint seals the OEM bellow and protects the rack from water, dirt, and sand.
- Chromoly rod ends. 3-piece PTFE-lined 5/8" Left/Right hand Chromoly rod ends with machined wrench notch areas.
- Mil-Spec anodized finish. Military grade anodized black with laser engraved branding.
- Made in the USA. Stainless steel misalignment spacers and class 10.9 hardware.
Construction & Installation
The tie rod kit works in conjunction with the OEM M16 steering rack and replaces the OEM rod ends. It uses 3-piece PTFE-lined 5/8" Chromoly rod ends and the DRT proprietary inner ball joint to seal the OEM bellow and protect the steering rack from the intrusion of water, dirt, and sand. DRT spec stainless steel misalignment spacers, 303 Stainless Steel rod end spacers, and class 10.9 hardware provide the required clamping force to keep you on the trail. The rods are finished in Military Grade anodized black, marked with DRT Motorsports branding, and proudly made in the USA. If there are any questions during the install, please call Customer Service.
Note: Verify jam nuts are tight and installed with thread locker. The use of paint check to visually verify movement is recommended. Jam nuts should be inspected before each ride to make sure everything is tight and secure. These radius rods are Left/Right adjustable.
