The design is used by manufacturers around the world. Even a 2024 Kawasaki Enduro or Dirt Bike has an \"oiled Air Filter\" STOCK from the factory.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cu\u003eHowever maintenance and common sense is required to keep your engine safe.\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eA-\u003c\/strong\u003e If an oiled air filter has no oil, it will obviously not remove any dirt particle from the air.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eB-\u003c\/strong\u003e An oiled air filter with not enough oil or rotating is just as bad as a filter with no oil, because all the oil has moved to the bottom and is NOT saturating the entire foam element.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cu\u003eEven this new air filter your receiving today may require more oil that has drained off in the package.\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSimply use some latex gloves and saturate the filter in its own oil by rubbing it all around and spread it the best you can.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRecommendations:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e1.\u003c\/strong\u003e We only recommend UNI ail service kits. Spin the top to the bottom.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you have driven 20 miles or 200 in dusty dirt conditions, it should be cleaned before using again. Period! Guessing doesn't save $10000.00 engines. Maintenance, common sense, and care do! Keep your offroad dust inhaling engine happy and alive.
